Hi, I'm Langdon. I was born in Ellensburg WA, and continue to call central WA home. Growing up here, my family introduced me to the Washington Cascades through backpacking, skiing, and biking. In my adulthood, I have continued to explore my backyard and further. I have recently shifted my focus towards climbing and ski mountaineering. I enjoy photography almost as much as I enjoy climbing mountains. This is a place I created to share my favorite adventures and the photographs I take along the way. Hopefully it inspires others to embark on adventures of their own, whatever the scale.

My adventure friends

Jeff

Jeff has been my primary climbing mentor and partner for fun stuff in the mountains. He also happens to have been my neighbor since I was 3 months old! Here are some words from the man himself just before setting off on the Human Powered Bulger project: I have been an outdoor endurance athlete since high school. I raced cross country skiing in high school, college, and as an adult. I have competed in running races including trail, road and cross country. I have finished 4 trail races of 100 miles or more, winning the Fat Dog 120 mile in 2017 and placing 2nd in the Cascade Crest 100 mile in 2014.  I have extensive experience climbing rock, ice and alpine routes in the Cascades and other ranges. I will be 52 when I attempt the Human Powered Bulger Project, and although I am not as spry as I once was, I still love to spend long days in the mountains.  I am a high school science teacher, cross country and track coach at Ellensburg High School, and coach of the Ellensburg Ski Team

Ben was one of my very first college friends at Montana State University. We bonded over skiing. After our college days we remained friends, and now Ben is one of my main climbing partners. He's one of the few people I know who's willing to endure some serious BS in the mountains. He was my partner for the bike to climb Waddington expedition.
